We were sitting on the sidelines watching Nana D make a sweeping move on the turn,opening up a 3 length lead and then holding on for the victory beating the 6 time winner.. For the players following our handicapping, the race was a good confidence builder..Hopefully some of you actually BET the race

$1 Exacta paid $21.50 $1Trifecta paid $297
The word "nail biter" can be used to sum up this winner. Trekki WON the race by a length..No problem..BUT
there was a "Stewards Inquiry" into the race concerning
a bumping incident in the stretch..then there was a "Jockeys Objection"
followed by a "Trainers Objection"..not looking good..10 minutes later,
the race was made "OFFICIAL" a real "nail biter"
We really stepped out and wheeled the Exacta for $2 and got back $43
We felt the favorite was very "vulnerable" and played a $1 Trifecta Wheel for $30
and got back $297...that was just lucky..
